Week of Monday, December 12 through Friday, December 16

This week we will resume our look at the leadup to the Civil War.  We will look at issues surrounding the Mexican War and the continued westward expansion of the United States. We will finish up with a look at the Compromise of 1850.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN, pp.363 (The War With Mexico)-368 (1850)

 

Thursday, December 15, 2011 (40 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 368 (1850...)-373 (Slavery Expansion).

 

Friday, December 16, 2011 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Have a great vacation. Memorize the Presidents!
