Week of Monday, February 22 through Friday, February 26

This week we will finish up our study of America's first steps toward empire and go to the brink of World War I. This week will also mark the beginning of the Spring term research project. If you have questions about the research project, or would like help coming up with topics, this would be a great week to conference!

Monday, February 22, 2010 (45 minutes)

Topic: Presentations.

Homework: Write feedback about the project on the Ning. What did you think about this activity? Was it enjoyable? Why or why not? What would you have changed about it? Would you like to do more activities like this?

 

Tuesday, February 23, 2010 (50 minutes)

Topic: Introduction to the Spring term research paper.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010 (45 minutes)

Topic: Introduction to World War One.

Homework: Read pp.647-652 (The Decision for War ) in AP&AN.

 

Thursday, February 25, 2010 (30 minutes)

Topic: More on World War One.

Homework: none

Topic: Have a great vacation!

Homework: Come back to school with a written list of three (3) possible topics for your research paper.
