Weekly Syllabus

Week of Monday, February 4 through Friday, February 8

This week we will continue our study of Reconstruction.  We will also learn everything there is to know about citing the sources for your cause of the Civil War paper, and begin to discuss how to interpret VISUAL primary sources (paintings, photographs, cartoons, etc.).

Don't forget that your winter term paper is due ONE WEEK FROM FRIDAY.  It is to be done with Google Docs.  That way you will not have to print anything out.  Just share the paper with me and I will simply look at it online.

Tuesday, February 5, 2013 (50 minutes)

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 447-450 (The West, Race and Reconstruction)

 

Wednesday, February 6, 2013 (40 minutes)

Topic: Mrs. Lewis on everything you need to know to cite your sources.

Homework: Complete the assignment(s) given by Mrs. Lewis in class today.

 

Thursday, February 7, 2013 (50 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading

Homework:Read AP&AN pp. 450-455 (skip 451, DO NOT SKIP 454).

 

Friday, February 8, 2013 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading, intro to analyzing images

Homework:Work on your paper.
