Weekly Syllabus

Week of Monday, January 6  through Friday, January 10

Welcome back!  I hope that you had a restful, happy vacation and that you are ready to have a wonderful 2014.  This week we will spend some time immersing ourselves in the study of slavery and abolition in mid-1800's America.  If you haven't done so already, you will need to obtain The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass for Monday's homework.  Please bring that book with you to class every day.  Feel free to take notes in the book if it helps you.

Please note that if you need extra help, the student study guide for the Frederick Douglass book is available on the download page.

Please be aware that on Thursday, January 16th you will have a test. The test will require you to know the names and years in office of ALL of the Presidents of the United States. You can find the info you need on pages A-21 and A-22 of the textbook.  Get started memorizing them now!
