Week of Monday, April 9 through Friday, April 13

This week you will hand in your second installment of notes for the research paper. It will amount to 6.67% of your grade for the project. We will spend some time this week learning about outlining for your termpaper, and we will finish up Chapter 25.  This week marks the end of the first half of the term. 

Monday, April 8, 2013 (40 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading that you did last week.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 700-703 (Limits of the New Deal). 

 

Tuesday, April 9, 2013 (50 minutes)

Due: Second installment of notes. This will be 6.67% of your research paper grade. I will log onto Noodletools to read your latest notes.

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp.703-708

 

Wednesday, April 10, 2013 (40 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 722 (The Course to War in Europe)-725 (Japan, China...)

 

Thursday, April 11, 2013 (50 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading. Vital information about outlining. Remember that your outline is due a week from Sunday.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 725 (The Course to War in Europe)-731 (US Demands on Japan)

 

Friday, April 12, 2013 (40 minutes)

Topic: We will finish up the discussion of the reading. 

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 731 (The Course to War in Europe)-735 (Japan, China...)
