Weekly Syllabus

Week of Monday, April 12 through Friday, April 16

This week you will hand in your second installment of notes for the research paper. It will amount to 6.67% of your grade for the project. On Thursday we will have our first major test of the trimester, covering chapters 23, 24 and 25. We will come to the midterm at the end of the week, and you will have a chance to pad your grade on the map of the USA test. Keep up with the reading and with your term paper preparation!

Monday, April 12, 2010 (40 minutes)

Due: Second installment of notes. This will be 6.67% of your research paper grade. You don't have to email them--just share them on Noodletools.

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp.732-737.

 

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 (50 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Study

 

Wednesday, April 14, 2010 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Study

 

Thursday, April 15, 2010 (45 minutes)

Topic: Major test on Chapters 23, 24 and 25.

Homework: Final map test prep. Work on your papers.

 

Friday, April 16, 2010 (40 minutes)

Topic: Map of the USA test. You will need to know where each state is on a blank map, and the capital of each state. Spelling counts!!

Homework: Work on your research papers.
