This week we will study the 1920's. Keep up with your research--you need to hand in a working thesis on Monday. Remember that lateness is not an option!

Due: Your working thesis. SHARE THIS WITH ME ON NOODLETOOLS BY THE START OF CLASS. It is worth 10% of the termpaper project grade.

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 685 (Cities)-693 (Lines of Defense).

 

Tuesday, March 29, 2011 (50 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading. Time in class to conference and work on your papers.

Homework: Read in AP&AN pp. 693-699 (Cultural Currents)

 

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 (40 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 699-703.

 

Thursday, March 31, 2011 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 707-709. Don't forget that your first installment of notes is due by the start of class on Monday. You need to submit these notes via Noodletools. If you have questions about how this works, ask me or a librarian.

 

Friday, April 1, 2011 (45 minutes)

Topic: Major test covering everything we've done from the first day of the schoolyear.

Homework: Work on your notes.
