This week we will have our first major test of the year, and close out the midterm by beginning Chapter 7, where we will begin our study of the Constitution.

Tuesday, October 4, 2011 (50 minutes)

Test: Period-long test on everything we've done so far.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 165-171 (The First Emancipation...)

 

Wednesday, October 5, 2011 (45 min)

Topic: Review of yesterday's test. Discussion of reading.

Homework:  Read AP&AN pp.171-175 (Designing Republican Governments)

Thursday, October 6, 2011 (40 min)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp.175-179 (Order and Disorder in the West)

Friday, October 7, 2011 (45 min)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 182 (From Crisis to Constitution)-183 (Constitutional

Convention); also read the Causes of Shays' Rebellion and Hamilton on Democracy .
