This week we will have our first major test of the year, and close out the midterm by beginning Chapter 7, where we will begin our study of the Constitution. You are doing very well so far; keep up the good work!


Monday, September 30, 2013 (45 minutes)

Topic: Period long test covering Chapters 3-6.

Homework: PLEASE read AP&AN pp. 166-171 (The First Emancipation...)
 

Tuesday, October 1, 2013 (50 minutes)

Test: Discussion of last night's reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 171-175 (Designing Republican Governments).  This is probably the single most important reading assignment of the entire school year.

 

Wednesday, October 2, 2013 (50 min)

Topic: Discussion of reading.

Thursday, October 3, 2013 (40 min)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.
Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 180 (Ordinance of 1785)-183 (Constitutional Convention).

 

Friday, October 4, 2013 (45 min)

Topic: Discussion of the reading. Further information about the events that led to the writing of the Constitution.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 183-188 (Celebrating Ratification).
