Week of Monday, February 15 through Friday, February 19

This week we will work finish up our study of Watergate, and look at "Whitewater-gate" and the case of Clinton v. Jones. Then we will jump into our final case of the term, Bush v. Gore, covering the contested Presidential election of 2000.

Monday, February 15, 2010 (40 minutes)

Topic:  More on the Nixon tapes and the Watergate scandal.

Homework: Read background on the scandals of the Clinton administration. Also articles on the Issues and Controversies in American History database.

 

 

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 (50 minutes)

 

Topic: Discussion about the Presidency of Bill Clinton.

Homework: Read Clinton v. Jones

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 (45 minutes)

 

Topic: Discussion of the case.

Homework: TBA

Thursday, February 18, 2010 (50 minutes)

 

Topic: Introduction to the case of Bush v. Gore.

Homework: Read Bush v. Gore.

Friday, February 19, 2010 (45 min)

Topic: Discussion of the case. Intro to final project.

Homework: Work on project.
