This week we will finish up the 1950's. By Thursday you should tell me which book or movie you will be writing about for your first half of the term major assignment. That assignment will be due by April 16th.

Topic:  Discussion of the reading. Fads of the 1950's.

Homework: Your rockabilly papers are due tonight at 11pm. Please make sure to read at least one (1) paper from each of the other 5 groups and comment on it by 11pm Wednesday night.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 (50 min)

Topic: Music Class # 3 (Rock and Roll; Rhythm and Blues, "Race Records")

Homework: We will watch a movie from the 1950's. Note: This will involve a night-time showing at the Kirby Library.
