Weekly Syllabus

Week of Monday, November 7 through Friday, November 11

This week we will finish up our time together by looking at the end of the Cold War, and the Persian Gulf War. Remember that during finals week you will need to schedule a half-hour long meeting with me to discuss the class.  At that time you will need to demonstrate thorough understanding of at least one major topic.

Monday, November 7, 2011 (50 min)

Topic: Reagan's Foreign Policy; America's resurgent military and the revival of patriotism. The Iran-Contra Scandal, and ethical lapses of the Reagan years continued. The rise of Gorbachev.
